You need to get the I2C kernel patch, lm78 kernel patch, some apps called `sensors' and something to watch them with. Go to freshmeat.net and look for `lm78' :]
Just an FYI...WindowMaker has some wonderful apps that will do this and much more..you can get links to these apps off WindowMakers homepage.
