Hi All Ive been away from th linux world and have gotten a bit rusty ;-)
my situation is
on my linux box I used to have a 95 partition 500M I blew it out and plan
to use the space to serve web files. the partition is mounted as /web
Ive got some kind of strande permission problem where even though I chmod
777 to this area and sm linked to my htdocs I get an error when I access
the directory via webbrowser 
"you dont have permission to view these files"
I did chown dizzy73 /web and chmod 777 /web also
ln -s /web /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/web
I can see the dir but cant access
I want to have the entire /web to serve web files
