Question: I have 6.3, I'd like to install all the updates that are on the SuSE ftp site. Does anyone have any exprience with these? Is there one complete update RPM?
All you'd need to do is get them to a local directory and then `rpm -Uvh package.rpm' to taste. Part of the beauty of the RPM system is the ability to upgrade ( -U ) individual packages.

Long way to go, Use YaST it has the option for Udate. Or, Using YaST 1,go to Install packages, select source as a ftp ( ftp.suse.com:/pub/suse/i386/update/6.3 ) and explore power of YaST 1 :) Cheers _j -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
