Hello, trying to install tkhylafax in SuSE 6.2 Grabbed a tkhylafax-3.2-1.src.rpm file off the net. Downloaded it to a temp file.
Fromthe /tmp directory, I typed rpm -i tkhylafax-3.2-1.src.rpm
I then tried rpm -bp /usr/src/packages/SPECS/tkhylafax-3.2.spec Didn't know what happened, so I though what the heck and tried the same command with the -bc option too. Apparantly, I now have a /usr/src/packages/BUILD/tkhylafax directory. Apparantly, with this particular program, I edit a Makefile file so tkhylafax knows where to install. I did that. Now what? In the INSTALL file, it says to "Run make." I've tried every combination of make, run, makefile, Makefile, etc. Also, I see a tkhylafax.unpatched file in this directory. Isn't the $(PREFIX)/BUILD directory supposed to contain the patched sourced code or something like that? Can't figure out what my next move is.
