This might not be the place to ask this question, but I'll ask anyway, since
I'm running Java under my SuSE install:

Has anyone ever got the message:

Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread

Could this be something, perhaps some setting I haven't initalized in my
install.  I've tried both native and green threads, although I'm really not
sure the difference.

Funny thing is that some Java apps work, ICQJava for instance.  And Netscape
stuff works.

All I'm trying to do is get some Java programs compiled and working.
