Linus has the final word over the kernel, I will not debate that, but Linus
can NOT sell out the kernel. The reasons being is that he did NOT write
%100 of the code currently in the kernel, alot of other people have put in
there own code, and their own copyrights (all of which are GPL). Even if
Linus want to sell out the kernel, he could not legally do it since he does
not own ALL of the copyrights. I remember reading an article where he did
this on purpose for this exact reason, but I can seem to find the URL.
