i look at it this way linus has the last final word over the kernel...
so we r safe unless he decides to sell out ya know...
and the simple solution to the proprietary thing is not to buy it...
now i dont mind buying suse cause it rox ....but if they ever jack up
the price screw them they dont get no more money from me...i will just
keep upgrading old distros or do my own ya know...
but i think suse is the best distro i used so far as for right outta the
box u cant go wrong...
heres a scenario...ppl r warezing winders software right...well theres
no warez really in linux but if these corporations actually won and
started charging for linux and the kernel ppl would be warezing kernels
all day long ya know...or like mentioned in previous msg`s to this list
they would rewrite it and put it back out for free gnu/gpl.....
oh well.......
