For this purpose, consider Demo Linux (www.demolinux.org), which boots
and runs off the CD.  64 MB RAM required.  I downloaded the ISO image,
burned a CD, and gave it to a friend who is the IT guy in an architectural
firm, and they are pretty excited about Linux just from the demo CD.
Macintosh guys seem to love point-and-click, don't they?
