[SLE] SuSE 6.3 pnpdump doesn't work for me

Maybe the gods are punishing me for hubris. Soon as I try giving modem
advice, I need it!

I have a 3Com/USR internal ISA PnP modem that worked perfectly for me under
SuSE 6.1.

This morning I did a fresh install of 6.3 (using YAST rather than YAST2).
The very first thing I ran (as root) was

pnpdump -c > /etc/isapnp.conf

I got messages "IRQ x in use" for x = 0,1,2,8,12,13,14,15.

isapnp.conf won't run. I'm attaching the contents of isapnp.conf.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
