I'm no lawyer, and this is just one guy's opinion, but if you bought
a legal copy, feel free to dispose of it any way you see fit (sell,
give, or trash). The common opinion that I've run into is that if
you treat it like a book, you're doing the ethically correct thing.
(Ie, the book can't be in two places at once...)

I've purchased 5.2, 6.1, 6.2, and now 6.3 (just waiting for it to
arrive). I usually give away the old copy once I have all my
machines upgraded to the new version. Ok, I'll admit it, I just
want more of those "Powered by SuSE linux stickers" ;-)

I'm going to predict SuSE's corporate answer: Sell your old copy if
you want, but your support (if any is left) will terminate, and the
new owner isn't entitled to it (unless they purchase their own
new copy).
