I just bought a used Dell (premium quality) Pentium 90, with an S3 Virge
PCI video
card, and an isa NE2000 ethernet card, and 32 megs of Simm ram; for
$159.
They were from a University computer lab.

Go to www.compgeeks.com and look at their "barebones" systems. Better
yet, go to
one of those computer trade shows/swap meets; and get some old surplus
stuff.
Pentiums are getting harder and harder to find. I hear they are grinding
them up,
and mixing them into cement for highways.

I have a K6-II 266, and they are selling for $59 now. Put it in a $99
PC-100
motherboard. I have heard that ram is going up because of the Taiwan
earthquake,
so Dimm ram may be expensive. ( It always goes up at Christmas, wonder
why? ;-) )
