Hello

                Does anyone know how to connect a Umax S-6E scanner to SuSE 6.2 and 
get it to work ?  I've tried and can't get it to go.  

        I've looked at the SuSE support database and it says something 
really vague about /dev and making a link.  Doesn't give a clue about 
what it means though.
