Hello Linux folks.
I downloaded and untared new kernel 2.2.13
When I entered make xconfig with this new kernel I got these warning
messages:
make [1]: *** Warning: File '/usr/src/linuxRules.make' has modification time in
the future (940378440 > 940375882)
make [1]: *** Warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete.
Could somebody tell me please what's all this about?
Should I disregard these messages and compile the kernel 2.2.13 or I should fix
something in my Linux box configuration?
I didn't compile this kernel 2.2.13 yet because I don't want to screw up my
Linux box which is working now with kernel 2.2.12
Thanks for any help.
Alex
