I am having problems compiling apps on a recently installed SuSE 6.2 
system, I get the following error during the ./configure phase
"x window system not found" II don't know whats going wrong, I
have the a path to /usr/X11R6/bin in $PATH and I have all the
X11 libs installed. Any ideas?
