     I had the same problem with the Corel CD.  For some reason, SuSE 6.2 
     kept mounting the CD as noexec (you could see this if you looked at 
     etc/mtab), no matter what you put into etc/fstab.  I unmounted the CD 
     and remounted with (if I recall correctly) " mount -o exec" etc., etc. 
     This forced mounting with exec instead of noexec.  Some configuration 
     file in 6.2 must override the fstab settings.
     
     Please pass this onto the SuSE list.
