No, I think that this is correct. The hardware acceleration has not yet
been built in to the server for the TnT2, at least not the one from
NVidia that I am using.
Take a look at Xi Graphics' web site
http://www.xigraphics.com/Pages/3D_AX_Page.html . Apparently, they are
supporting hardware accelerated 3D at a "proof of concept" stage. I
guess it will take another couple of months before we see a beta test
version out from them. I am not sure how far xfree has come with their
version.
