Greetings,
I'm messing around with NFS on my local ethernet.
For example, I have a 15MB file on the NFS server I need on the client.
When I copy the NFS served file from the server to the client, it
progresses at about 50K/sec or so.
Ftp'ing the same file shoots by at about 900K/sec.
Is NFS normally this slow? (I am using rsize and wsize = 16k with 2.2.12
kernel / 6.2)
I am also getting these errors in /var/log/messages:
Oct 8 21:39:52 asimov nfsd[140]: Unable to setfsgid -2: Invalid argument
Oct 8 21:39:52 asimov nfsd[140]: Unable to setgroups: Invalid argument
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
tia.
teve.
