Temporary shortage. Also, just heard an interesting rumour that it was because the manufacturers got a little greedy. At least processor prices are still down. Um, then again maybe I shouldn't have said anything.......

What is wrong with memory prices? They are just shooting up!
A few months back I bought a 128MB PC100 DIMM for $136 and
today its selling for $400!!!

Does anyone have an idea why?
