I wouldn't expect there to be any problems with 128 megabytes at all.

Were you to install more than 1 gigabyte of memory, you would have to
recompile your kernel with the 2 gigabyte upper memory threshold option
enabled.

I'm currently running 512 megabytes, and tonight will be experimenting by
pulling a 128 meg dimm out of that machine and putting it in another.
Memory prices have gone insane in the last 2 months so it makes sense to
"distribute the wealth" between machines.
