[SLE] Slow FIFO's 6.2 Addendum...

I am leaning toward slow fifos.... zcat and bzcat source balls and
piping them to tar tvf - is much slower now as well. I also have all
the updates for 6.2 from the ftp site installed where appropriate. All
those from A1 except pcmia stuff. From the other dirs as needed.
