Hi list,

last week I was able to save some hardware from being scrapped, i.e.,
1 alpha XL266, 1 DECstation 5000, and 3 Sparc 2's.
As for the alpha, I was wondering how well SuSE 6.1 runs on them and
what to look out for when getting it installed. I should also like to
note that the HD has been scrubbed, i.e., currently no OS is installed.
Will this make the installation difficult?
Any and all suggestions are welcome, of course also for the other
boxes which are perhaps more challenging to Linuxify.
