no, i have not checked that, i don't know how. i assumed that would be ok,
since the drive is an old 236 meg drive and wuld therefore not even have
1024 cyls. but please do tell me how to check it.

I have read in some other article today, that editing the fstab might be
needed, i will look at that too
boot.b is another thing, i understand it is the bootloader, but is that a
static piece of software or is it something customly created by lilo every
time it is run?
map is another thing, could someone please explain to me what exactly the
map does, where it comes from, and how i could replicate it?
