Now this might even make sense, the first *Real* response I have
received
to date. Insted of those " I'm 'Statically' connected to the world"
responses
"and it works for me". Believe me, this is real *Bug* in 6.2 for Dialup
people, Ok.

under kppp setup edit your settings for your isp.  under arguments
add   'defaultroute'  and  'noipdefault'.     leave etc/ppp/options
alone.
