thanx for the tip Robert, but I see that these wee beasties need glibc  2.0 &
.21 & this is a SuSE 6.2 thing & I am on 6.1....

So, I gather another choice I have, is to upgrade my compiler-but there are
troubles with that.... I might just have to upgrade from 6.1 > 6.2....?
