There is, very possibly, an IO/port overlap between IO/300 on the NIC and
IO/330 on the sound card.
Force the NIC so something less likely to conflict and see if you get past
the problem.
I used to have that problem pretty regularly with installing sound cards on
workstations in a network I used to support.
