Hello SuSE users:

        I've just upgraded from 6.1 to 6.2 and amost everything went OK. 
The exception being my printer, which won't print anything using 'lpr'. 
If root executes 'cat > /dev/lp0' my HP Deskjet prints the first 3 lines
of the file in "stairstep" fashio.  This tells me that I have a good
connection to the printer and that I need to fix the stairstep problem,
which I know how to do in the apsfilter file.  Running 'lpr -Plp
/root/.bashrc' gives me no printer output at all, nor any error messages.

        Has anyone else had this problem?
