To print through TCP/IP, the protocol must be
supported on the HP JetDirect Print Server. Most of
the HP JetDirect Print Servers support TCP/IP, with
the exception of the HP JetDirect 150X (HP Product
Number J2592) and some older single-protocol HP
JetDirect Print Servers. Print an HP JetDirect
configuration page to determine whether or not
TCP/IP is supported on that device.
It doesn't look like this device will support IP printing (lpd). You will need
to use the IPX support of Linux in order to be able to have a chance of using
this JetDirect box. I havn't gone though that config so can't give any
pointers. Sorry..
