[SLE] xv weirdness

Hi Lenz and all,
just wanted to let you know that I tried xv out on other windowmanagers
and it grabbed windows flawlessly. Finally I went back to kde and tried
it out as well, and to my big astonishment it worked. I don't recall
fiddling with any system-wide parameters. The reason why it didn't work
the other day will probably remain a mystery. However, I will keep a
watchful eye on the puppy in case the weirdness comes back.
