I was doing mine from a fresh install. (New built PPro, I was wanting to
make it soar!)
Since it WAS a new PC it did not know that I have been having a hardware
fault. I finally got tired of messing w/ it after 3 days and did a fresh
install w/ 6.1 to verify the PC. 6.1 installed without a hitch. I think I
hold her until a resolution develops.

I also noticed that I was having a problem w/ the boot floppy. The first
couple of time I started the install, the floppy booted fine, then sometime
later it would take ~3-4min to boot to the fisrt ASCII splash screen. When I
went back to 6.1 this morning, the 6.1 boot floppy worked fine. I changed
back and forth between the 6.1 and 6.2, and each time the 6.2 was slow, but
there does not seem to be any errors w/ the floppy itself.
