[SLE] NIC alias

i have a freshly installed SuSE 6.2 box that is to act as an router for
a small lan with a permanent internet connection.. my problem is that i
forgot how to alias an ip address to that nic. how do i add 192.168.1.1
to a nic that is already assigned an ip?
