Hi yall & Jerry,

who wrote,

<snip>

I ran 'sax' and discovered that no video options for the ATI AGP Rage
Pro 2X video card exists, and that the closest I can get to the montior
is Dell 1025HE. The monitor may work, but I know that none of the video
options do.

I attempted to run XF86Config but it wasn't in the path. I tried
/etc/XF86Config but I wouldn't work either. I tried to 'locate' it but
locate wasn't found. I tried locatedb but it wasn't found.

Then it was time to go home, so I will set some profile and boot.local
settings tomorrow.

Moral: burn RH to the ground before you install SuSE!

So, if you are
keen/mad/seasoned/experienced/devil-may-care/well-balanced....

enjoy.

Of course, download from an FTP site nearest ones actual location on the
planet... Virtually speaking ;-)

Now I would have done some myself, but I am off to a local supplier, called

Macro-Science, to get a new Cyrix CPU put into my wee machine! :-)
