Hello.
I am using suse since one year witout pb (suse 5.3).
I have a private network (198.68.1.x stuff with two station  (a
slackware station connected via ppp to my ISP and the second hostingthe
suse distribution.

All networking was good since last week where i unfortunately update to
suse 6.2!!

All network config stayed good, my eth card is recognized at boot time
but i cannot ping to the other computer using ip adress or name host.
Tcpdump shows arp traffic without success.

What append. module is not correctly loaded.
I saw some thread in the archive about the need to recompile the
standard kerne i am using?

Thanks in advance. I am only connected to internet via my old p100 and
the old but robust slackware 2.0.35 kernel.
Lost my network ...
