Am I going mad here??

SuSE 5.3, kernel 2.0.36, on it's own 10G drive. Doze98 on it's own 9G
(partitioned into 2G drives even though they're fat32).

Occasionally I download linux stuff in doze and copy it from the doze drive to
linux's while in linux. No problem (apart from the file name getting truncated).
Friday I received a mail while in linux which I needed to move to doze. So I
mounted a doze drive and copied it over. ls showed that it was on the target
drive. I rebooted into doze and the file wasn't there! Rebooted back to linux
and it was.

In the end I had to mail it to myself by changing hosts to force the mail to go
out to the ISP and then receive it while in doze.

Any idea why doze can't see this file or what I may be doing wrong. When I mount
the doze drive it moans if I use the vfat option, so I don't specifiy the file
system type. Never had a problem until now though I've never needed to transfer
from linux to doze.

Thanks for any input,

T.
