Sendmail on SuSE 6.1 comes with relaying disabled. It's an anti-spam
thing. To get round it, create yourself an /etc/mail/relay-domains and
enter the names of the domains you want to allow relay access.

I had to do this to allow sendmail to pass Email sent from Win98
running inside VMware.

Btw, the answer to this is in SuSE's online trouble shooting database. It's
always a good place to look first.
