Hi,

there is a script somewhere (something in the directory where you have all the
stuuf for booting, or /etc, i'm sorry i'm not in front of the box right
now)defining what halt actually does in this script you will find a line which is
something like :
halt="halt"
change it to :
halt="halt -p"
and your computer will power off (if you have the support in the kernel, if your
motherboard supports it , ...)
