Hi,

I have SuSE 5.3 with updated kernel to 2.2.9

I installed sendmail rpm from SuSE61 taken from the ftp server.

Now I have a network with a few win machines behind my working firewall/masq
and I have this single Linux box also running a webserver for my domain

<A HREF="http://www.montiehouse.com";><A HREF="http://www.montiehouse.com</A">http://www.montiehouse.com</A</A>>

I use two DNS provided by my ISP(cable modem connection). They set them up
for my domain and my mail server.

I installed sendmail but I am unsure about how to configure it. I also don't
know about my connection to my ISP.
I used to have my host as
montehou.tcimet.net
but I also could get a connection as
abraham.montiehouse.com

I saw no difference at all. I guess I don't really understand the workings
of the resolve process(?).

Now I just like to get my mail server working. I like to know what to
configure. Here is what my ISP wrote me:

***
Because we have mail relay turned off of our mail server, you need to set
the outgoing mail server to mail.montiehouse.com and the incoming mail
server to mail.tcimet.net.
***

I don't find anything in the mail howto of use.

My second problem is to get ICQ to work in my network behind my masq.
I got the 0.54 mod version for 2.2 kernel.
I use the makefile and while compiling the output is:

gcc -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -I/usr/src/linux/include -c ip_masq_icq.c
-o ip_masq_icq.o

When I 'insmod ip_masq_icq.o' it tells me:

ip_masq_icq.o: unresolved symbol unregister_ip_masq_mod

Can somebody help?

Thanks,

Marcel
