Hello,
I've just bought my first PC and installed SuSE 6.0 on my desktop, because I
don't really like the MS stuff. Everything went well, except I couldn't make
the correct setting for PPPD deamon.
I managed to connect to my ISP through my modem, but once connected...I
couldn't do anything else...and eventually the connection would be
terminated with an error message : "PPPD deamon died unexpectedly!" I used
the KPPP dial up connection in X. My first guess is there is something I
should write into the ISP login script not only my user id and my
password....I've check the doc that distributed
Anyone could help this LINUX newbie problem ?
Any recommendations/pointers would be appreciated.
Regards,
Andreas.
