For all of the latest on kernel developments, including Alan Cox (or ac)
revisions, check out <A HREF="http://www.kernelnotes.org"><A HREF="http://www.kernelnotes.org</A">http://www.kernelnotes.org</A</A>>. I'd say that the only
person who knows more about the kernel than Linus himself would be Alan, so
it's *pretty* safe to run his source. The only thing is that you need a
generic source tree to patch from. You can get those at
<A HREF="ftp://ftp.de.kernelnotes.org"><A HREF="ftp://ftp.de.kernelnotes.org</A">ftp://ftp.de.kernelnotes.org</A</A>>, I believe.
