Even though I have entered the statement:

daemon.debug /etc/ppp/ppp_log

in /etc/syslog.conf

and have 'debug' in my pppd call as follows:

/usr/sbin/pppd lock /dev/$DEVICE name $USER \
remotename $PROVIDER \
modem crtscts 115200 noipdefault \
ipcp-accept-local ipcp-accept-remote \
debug defaultroute asyncmap 0 mtu 1500 mru 1500 \

it is still not logging the sent and received protocols as it did
before I upgraded to 6.1.

Any insights greatly appreciated,

Dwight
