Hi all,
and a BIG thanks to the SuSE team, since now I have a bought 6.1 & I am
impressed. It lives up to my expectations. :-)
One thing is still throwing me, my Opti 924 Diamond sound card. The OSS
only loads it with the "audio" & "mixer" options disabled. I found that
out by "cat /dev/sndstat."
So no sound in CTP :-(
I found that the "pnpdump -c" command produced and empty
"isapnp.conf," in /etc, doh!
So I am about to try playing with the module options.
Anyone else hereabouts have any joy with this type of Soundcard? As
every, all aid greatfully accepted by a new-ish-be.
Greek Geek. :-)
The opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth.
