I had the same problem with SuSE V6. I had set up my printer using YAST as
an HP4 and made sure it worked OK. I then changed the device in control
panel/printers/HP4, (whatever), /propeties/details/print to following port -
to \\MYSERVER\lp2 and everything woked fine.

Before it was set to raw mode.
