Anyone care to write a simple (mini) how-to ?
I know there are other how-to similar, but none (that
I am aware of) cover the new kernel, wvdial and DOD.
Most ideal would be to have it all start up after booting
up, without having to log on to start things up. This way
one system could be turned on and it would handle all the
dial on demand and ipmasqurading automatically without
any further intervention. Shutting down would be accomplished
by telnet ( no need for monitor or anything else for the
system handling the network connection )
I am sure there is someone on this list that has already got
dial on demand, and ipmasqurading working , using the latest
SuSE with WVdial. How about posting or make available a
how-to for the rest of us, not so proficient at setting things
up . It will be much easier to go down a check list, then to
try to guess what we skipped or misconfigured.
