A web search on a linux driver for this card turned up very little.
I have a SuSE linux system running on an Adaptek 1542A controller.
The controller card is becomming a bit unreliable, so a friend gave
me this wd7193 PCI card. The system SEEMS not to recognize it. Is my
distro (5.1) just too old, or does no driver for this card exist,
or,just a likely am I doing something wrong? I have 6.0 ordered
from Linux Central, will this work with this card?

On an alternate subject, this system has just had another drive
installed and I am wondering what the optimum partitions would
be. the drives are:
760MB SCSI
1GB SCSI
1.3GB SCSI
2GB SCSI
The 760MB and the 1.3GB are both older slower drives and the 2GB is
the fastest. This machine was made out of parts from my junk box!!
It has a Nexgen NX586-133 and 32MB of ram.
