hey i'm a newbie,
i am running suse 5.3 and want to get the gimp running on my box.
downloaded the gimp rpm, glib rpm, gtk rpm , and libg rpm. i've read
that suse uses libc instead of glib. should i try to compile instead of
using binaries? if someone would shed some light on what needs to be
done to get the gimp running i would appreciate it. i am very novice.
thanks in advance
tony
