I actually did deserve the flames that I got. I was pretty lazy about
not using a root password. This list is probably the best I've been
associated with, even though some people get aggitated with stupid
questions. I've done it myself. I have a few Unix servers at work and
they don't have access to the Internet, so I really don't know much
about Internet security. I have definately learned a ton in the last
couple of days. I guess thanks to people here smacking me on the head a
few times. I will start treating my machine more like I treat my work
machines, and will get me a book or look up some info on security.
Sometimes people do need to get spanked sometimes.
