I don't know exactly how your drives are set up, but I'm guessing you
have three IDE devices in your computer, your cd-rom being /dev/hdc.
/dev/hdc is the actual device, while /dev/cdrom is there to make things
easier for you, it's supposed to eliminate confusion as to which device
is your cd-rom.
