As I understand it, the new Glibc-2 isn't supported under the 5.3 distribution,
and even if you download it, you won't get it to install...

The new SuSE 6.0 however, comes with the Glibc-2, and is the first distribution
to officially support it... 6.0 is scheduled to ship the first week of
February...

To answer someone else's question; If the new 2.2 kernel is ready by then, it
will be included with the new 6.0 distribution...
