Here's my experience, step by step.

Take so50_01.tar.gz and un-compress in your home
sub-directory as ~/so50 .

Then go to ~/so50/glibc2_inst and as su root, run 
./soprep and put the files in /opt/Office50/lib when asked.

(I edited /etc/ld.so.conf and added /opt/Office50/lib already.)

Then I exit and run ./setup from ~/so50/office50_inst and 
my prompt dissappears for a few seconds comes back and nothing ?

What exactly else should I be doing to get setup to work ?
