The full duplex deal I'm not really sure about; however, I understand that it
really doesn't make much difference in the real world. But, don't take that as
gospel; some one else may know better. :-)

As far as the 10Mbit goes, you will have to be connected to a 100Mbit hub. If
you are connected to a100Mbit hub, then check the lights on the back of the
NIC. The 100Mbit light should be lit. That much I do know for sure.

I am going to upgrade my LAN in the next month or two. I am planning to use
the Linksys 10/100 8 port hub and Linksys NIC's throught. The 10/100 hub is
only a little more money and supporting both standards gives it maximum
versatility. Right now, my LAN is a real hodge-podge of 10BaseT ISA/PCI stuff
from a variety of manufactures. But, it works and works well! As an aside, if
some of you really network savvy folks know of a reason why I shouldn't use
Linksys products, PLEASE let me know.
