I personnally have not had any problems installing SO5. I'm running 5.2
and 2.0.34 kernel.

I have a word97 documents which is 3mb in size that applix >4.4.1 chokes
on. Want to do a little experiment? If you have SO 5 >and want to try

I've had very good results from SO5 so far, it seems quite faster than
SO4. I've imported Word and Excell files with graphics imbedded and it
looks the same on both formats. As far as I know, you can't import
powerpoint files. The only problems I've seen is with people
complaining about the install. If you get the libs installed and call
them from the command that calls SO5, then you shouldn't have any
problems running it. I don't. I'd be willing to test that experiment
for ya if ya want. I don't have a file of that size in word format.
